THE BELLS & STARS
EQUESTRIAN DRILL TEAM

An equestrian drill team is a group of horses and riders performing choreographed maneuvers to music. Teams can perform at the 4H district and state show, Central Texas Drill Team contests, and local rodeos. Drill teams are intended to entertain, show sportsmanship, horsemanship, teamwork and dedication.

These teams practice several times a month to prepare for shows. Teams wear uniforms and costumes while performing to help showcase their themes. Members use their imaginations and skills to help make each performance unique. The Bells drill team may have multiple teams in one year depending on number of riders and routines. All skill levels welcomed and encouraged to join.

DRIL TEAM INFORMATION

Please read club bylaws for in-depth information about Bell 4-H Horse Club Drill Team.

Drill Team is a lot of fun but a huge commitment!
An entire team is counting on you. Members can come try it out at 2 practices in September of every year. Members that choose to join the drill team will need to sign a commitment form and will be placed on a team or teams in October.
*Surrounding counties that do not have a drill team or horse club can apply for a 4-H transfer. Please contact your local 4-H extension office for information on that process.
Come check it out and see if it is the right fit for you!
